The external radio port on the Trimble Base can be setup through the user interface. The Leica MCR-900 radio needs to be programmed as a Leica Base using the programming cable and configuration utility. The files can be imported into ICON Site, ICON3D or ICON Office and convert the LOK.
Trimble to Leica
The external radio port on the Topcon Base can be configured using the Topcon Receiver Utility (TRU) on a laptop or Topcon Receiver. The Leica MCR-900 radio needs to be programmed as a Leica Base using a programming cable and configuration utility. The Topcon files can be imported into the TopSURV PC and converted into the correct files. This can be imported into the Leica equipment.
Leica to Trimble
The external radio ports can be configured through the Leica ICG60 Base user interface keys. With one of our Trimble SNB900 Radio, communication power cable and a Leica trained technician we can have your Leica base transmitting to your Trimble equipment without setting up another base station. With a quick import into the Trimble Business Center to convert the file.
Leica to Topcon
Using the Leica ICG60 Base with Topcon equipment. The external radio port on the Base can be configured through the Leica ICG60Base user interface. Next you will have to use a Topcon RE-S1 radio, Data, cable and the modem-TPS program to interface systems. A job setup will need to be created by entering the values from the icon site and import them into the Topcon Office.
